![]() ![]() ![]() I think the guys who bragged about having the control panel are actually the ones going the extra mile for no reason. Those who had the right click option were generally using Beta Intel drivers in order to get it.when they could've just been using CRU (custom resolution utility) to add the extra resolutions they were looking for. Oook well keep in mind that I said that I don't have the option on my desktop either! I recall that being a recurring thing with most SP users. WHALLAH! Now open the Intel control panel and command center! Worth noting that before I restarted in this step, I went to the Sound, video, and game controllers and updated the Intel Display Audio by pointing to: "dch_igcc_win64_26.20.100.6709\Graphics\DisplayAudio\10.26)" - to be honest I doubt this will be critical for you, but I was having audio issues at the time, and doing this did reinstall the version 10.26.0.6 for me and fixed my issue Now the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter is installed, click update, but choose Have Disk and point to the graphics folder of the DCH drivers you extracted (dch_igcc_win64_26.20.100.6709\Graphics) Go into device manager and click on your display adapter (Intel Iris Graphics) and click UPDATE -> brose my computer -> pick from a list -> and replace it with Microsoft Basic Display Adapter ZIP of latest DCH driver package, extract it to a folder Here's what I did, so check it out and see if it works: I was surprised that I hadn’t read any posts about this yet! Hell yeah.ĮDIT: If anyone else reads this thread and has NOT been able to get this working, please post below. And I ain’t touching any of them!! Been struggling for years to even get the display driver to give me control panel let alone work this nicely. Also have access to Graphics Control Center. System diagnostics of Graphics Command Center says I’m using most current driver and all features are unlocked. ![]() UPDATE: See this article that I found on the topic: Seems like many are having issues with getting it set up, but I'm all set so if you are NOT able to access this yet - let's discuss it. This is the first time in all my days with the SP4 that I am finally impressed! I now have full access to Intel Graphics Control Panel, Intel Graphics Command Center, and my screen resolution of both my SP4 and my external monitor are perfect! ![]()
